Hapuna Beach Park
Hapuna Beach Park was our favorite beach for swimming and wave jumping! This beach is gorgeous. The turquoise water lapping onto the white sand beach had our jaws dropping. It looks like something out of a movie. Reed had not been in the ocean since he was two but he is a strong swimmer. We started him out with a life jacket to get him used to the ebb and flow of the ocean. Shortly, he was brave enough to take off his life jacket and enjoy the waves. Hearing him laugh and scream with delight as the waves would come in is a memory that is permanently etched in my mind now.
There is a $5 parking fee. They do have a beach rental shop on site where you can rent snorkels and body boards.
