Akaka Falls State Park
Akaka Falls State Park is a fun hike through the rain forest that ends at this breathtaking waterfall! The trail is an easy 0.4 mile loop through the jungle with views of multiple waterfalls but this is the star. There are stairs therefore it is not wheelchair accessible. Admission is $5 per car.
My son loved this trail! It was his first time hiking in the jungle and he thought it was amazing. Plus it is one of those iconic towering waterfalls that seem so quintessentially Hawaiian.
