That time is finally here! Time to pull the holiday boxes down from the garage and decorate your home for Christmas! However, if you don’t want to use last year’s wreath, I’ve got a simple wreath that will offer your visitors a warm welcome as it greets them at the front door. This Red and White Christmas Wreath is reminiscent of a peppermint candy, perfect for the winter season!
The best part is you can make this wreath in very little time, with just a handful of materials. Follow along for the tutorial:
Red and White Christmas Wreath
Materials
18″ Floracraft Styrofoam Wreath Form
Dyed Burlap (red)
White Yarn
A matching fun winter scarf
Glue gun / glue sticks
Directions:
Wrap the dyed burlap twice around the wreath form (so the white doesn’t show) securing it with hot glue.
Wrap the white yarn around in a 1.5 inch section, glue to hold.
Wrap the next section in the burlap, be sure that the pieces of burlap touch at the bottom.
Repeat this pattern all the way around the wreath form, allowing enough space at the bottom center for the scarf.
Tie the scarf in a basic knot onto the wreath.
The Red and White Wreath is a great addition to your Christmas décor! With cozy materials like burlap, yarn, and a scarf, you can use it indoors or out; place it on your front door, inside in your entry way, or even over your mantel.
Once the Christmas season is over, you can unwrap your Floracraft Styrofoam wreath and give it a whole new look!
Happy holidays, and happy decorating!
