Spiderweb Trick-or-Treat Bag

Now that everyone is counting down the days to trick-or-treating, I thought I would share with you my Spiderweb Trick-or-Treat Bag!  Who doesn’t like a new accessory, right?  When I was little, we used the plastic orange pumpkins to collect candy.  But honestly, they were kinda small.

I LOVE this bag!
The spiderweb is sequins.  I had to be creative and free hand this design.  Then, I used hot glue to apply it to the bag.

I cut out the Eek! with my Cameo and used it as a stencil.  {I used acrylic craft paint and guess what the color is?  Pumpkin!}

My favorite part if the pipe cleaner spider hanging from orange and black ribbon.  I love how it adds some dimension.
Here’s a quick tutorial on how I made the spider….
Begin by cutting two pipe cleaners in half.

Then I took two of the smaller pieces and twisted them together.  Keep adding a pipe cleaner and twisting until all four are together.

Apply a generous glob of hot glue in the center and add a black pom pom.

Add some cute googly eyes and you are done!

Isn’t he cute?
