Mom’s Favorite Cheeseball Recipe is my go to potluck and holiday dinner recipe!

Any of you who follow this blog on a regular basis know that I am not much of a cook.  So when I was asked to join in this fun little bloggy challenge, I panicked.  I DON’T COOK!  Mom’s Favorite Cheeseball recipe to the rescue!

Growing up, my mother made this cheeseball every Thanksgiving and Christmas.  My sister will not even make this unless it is the holidays.  The colors go well for Christmas, right?  It’s quite simple and technically, nothing is being cooked.

How to make Mom’s Favorite Cheeseball Recipe

Ingredients:
One bunch of green onions
One package of Carl Buddig Corned Beef
One 8 ounce package of Sharp Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Three packages of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
Lawry’s Seasoning Salt

ingredients

Begin by chopping up your green onions.

And cut up your corned beef.

Place in a mixing bowl and add the shredded cheese.  Mix/toss together all three ingredients.

Next, open you cream cheese and using your palm to make a pouch.  Add Lawry’s Seasoning Salt.

Place a small amount of your onion, beef and cheese mixture on each pouch of cream cheese.

Then place all three balls of cheese on top of each other (like a little snowman).  Form into large ball of cheese.  Roll the cheeseball in the remaining mixture to make it look pretty.  Sprinkle some more season salt on the outside.  Serve with your choice of crackers.  {I prefer Sociables but that is because that is what Mom always used.}

I just love this cheeseball!  I rationalize that it is good for you since it includes all four food groups!  =)
