I shared these sweet Upcycled Bud Vases over at The 36th Avenue a couple of weeks ago  In case you missed it, here it is!

If you follow me on Instagram, I featured a photo of my tiny bouquet of yellow flowers.  As a mother, my heart swells when my little human brings me a bouquet of freshly cut….dandelions.  There is something about that simple gesture that melts me.  It’s sad that they last all of 2 seconds before they whither and die.  About the same time that morning, he was busy scarfing back some Danimals Smoothies and something clicked in my head.  I could use these upcycled bud vases to preserve them just a little longer!

Creating your own Bud Vases is simple!

All you need is an empty, cleaned out yogurt cup, Mod Podge, a paintbrush, and glitter!

These are the yogurt cups to which I am referring.  Reed is obsessed with these!  We got through a dozen or two a week!  So I have these coming out of my ears!

Remove the wrapping and coat with Mod Podge.  I have a special love of the Extreme Glitter Mod Podge.  I mean, who doesn’t!?

These would actually be beautiful with any type of flower!  And what mother doesn’t love receiving flowers from her favorite people?!
