These Fruit Drink Glasses are perfect for summer and the kids will go nuts for the color changing vinyl!

When I first saw this color changing vinyl pop up in my Facebook feed, I knew I had to play with it! They had a website however, you can get the same materials from Amazon. I decided to grab the variety pack so I could play around with the different colors. This is not a sponsored post. I just wanted to try something to share with all of you!

Materials needed to make Fruit Drink Glasses

TeckWrap color changing vinyl
Glasses
Cricut Maker
Easy grip mat
Weeding hook
Scissors
Transfer tape

Images I used in Cricut Design Space:

Strawberry #M3C13126D
Cut Lemon #M280A7EBF
Watermelon Slice #M3BF85AD3

To test which color was which in the vinyl variety pack, I used an ice pack from the freezer and laid the vinyl on it. Super easy way to see which colors I wanted to use!

The glasses I used measured 4.5 inches by 9 inches. I created a pattern using 3 of the fruit image in Design Space. Then I copied and pasted it until it fit in the design parameters.

Once you have your imaged and pattern designed to your liking, remove the clear plastic liner from the vinyl. Lay the vinyl on the cutting mat shiny side up.

Follow the directions in Design Space to cut your vinyl. When the cut is complete, weed the excess vinyl away. Use the transfer tape to transfer your cut vinyl to the glass.

Use the scraper tool to burnish the vinyl onto the glass. Carefully remove the transfer tape.

Now for the fun part, add a cold beverage to the glass and watch your vinyl change colors!!

How fun is that?! I had so much fun playing with the colors! Have you tried this color changing vinyl?
