I’m Vanessa from Our Thrifty Ideas here to share my fun wreath tutorial today. This Red and Green Pom Wreath is my favorite because of how traditional and festive it is.

More fun at the Winter Wreath Workshop! Check out thsi Red & Green Pom Wreath at createcraftlove.com

This is such an easy tutorial but can take some time. So put on a good chick flick, grab your hot glue and go to town.

What you’ll need:

wreath form
2 large bags of Christmas colored Pom Poms
lots of hot glue

The trick to this is to push the pom poms as close together as possible when gluing, and to put the glue on the form and not directly on the pom pom. Trust me, that’ll save your fingers a burn or two!!Using Pom Poms to create a Christmas Wreath

Start in one section and you will want to put the pom pons on the outside, front and inside of the form. Don’t put it on the back, cause nobody is even gonna see the back! And I learned the hard way that you need to periodically take a step back to make sure that everything is looking even. Make sure you don’t have a bunch of big pom poms clumped together, or too many small ones. Nobody wants an uneven wreath hanging on their door!

To hang the wreath, I just used a 3M hook on the front door and just put the wreath straight on the hook. But it you want to hang it with a ribbon, just hot glue a ribbon onto the back of the wreath form.
