It’s summer and you know what that means – lots of outdoor play and lots of boo boos and injuries.  From bike injuries to bee stings, the nurse in me keeps busy even around the house!  You can easily throw together this DIY First Aid Kit for under $5!  It’s small, portable and fits in purses and beach bags for easy accessibility!

Simply tear off the plastic to use as you please.  Wash plastic container and let air dry.  Of course, I jazzed mine up with my Cricut.  Again, if you don;t have a cutting machine just used letter stickers to decorate yours.

I went to Dollar Tree to fill my kit.

A couple of different types of bandaids because you never know where on the body the injury may be.  A roll of gauze in case it requires more than a bandaid.  Triple antibiotic ointment for healing.  (Warning:  Do not use if you have an allergy to any of the ingredients.)  And Germ X for clean cuts and hands.

These are some the most common supplies.  You can also add tweezers for splinters and bee stings.  Alcohol pads to clean cuts.

And with a kid this crazy, I will go through all of this by the 4th of July.  LOL
