I’ve been slightly pool noodle obsessed this summer if you hadn’t noticed.  I mean, who knew these little foam tubes could be so useful and fun?  We’ve been experimenting and coming up with all sorts of fun crafts including my Pool Noodle Luminaries.  If you missed those, click HERE.  One of the funnest ways we discovered to use these bad boys is as bubble wands.  Bubbles are a vital part of a kids summer experience so we created these Bubble Wand Flowers from pool noodles!

All you need to create these Bubble Wand Flowers is:

Pool noodles

Paper straws

Ribbons

Bubbles

Gently press the straw into the foam.  Apply light pressure and twist back and forth until the straw breaks through the foam.

Add some ribbon to dress it up a bit.

Begin blowing bubbles and having a good time!

The paper straws do get saturated and start bending, but these pool noodle cut outs can still be used to blow bubbles WITHOUT the straw!

This is seriously one of my favorite ideas ever!
