Every year, I keep all of the Christmas cards we receive. And every year, I wonder what I’m going to do with them all! I hate the idea of throwing them away! This year put them away and plan on recycling them into these Upcycled Christmas Card Gift Tags!
The great thing about this project is the variety! So many different designs and images just waiting to be reused. The island of misfit cards – if you will!
Simply, gather together your old cards.
Cut out the images of your choosing! They look great with the brown kraft paper!
If you want to go the extra step, you could back them with some scrapbook paper to really make them stand out! I punched a hole at the top center and attached a piece of baker’s twine (since I have so much).
I just love that little mouse sitting next to the fire. It reminds me a of an old ornament on our tree growing up!
How cool would this look with some vintage Christmas cards? {I think I have an idea for next year now!}
