Like it or not, Christmas is right around the corner! I love the hustle and bustle this time of year brings – especially when choosing the perfect gift for that special someone. To kick off my Gift Wrapping Series, how about trying something different this year and personalizing your gift wrap too? These Mod Podge Gift Tags are the perfect embellishment to your packages!
Here’s what you need:
Podgeable Shapes
Glossy Mod Podge
Roller Applicator
Rub-On Transfers
Scrapbook Paper
Ribbon
{Let me start by saying, when I opened this package from Plaid, I was BLOWN AWAY! Just look at all these goodies! Stay tuned for lots of more fun Mod Podge projects!}
Begin by tracing your Podgeable Shape on your favorite festive scrapbook paper.
Cut out your shape. {To add a little dimension, I chose to cut out another piece of paper to place in the middle of the shape.} Using your Roller Applicator, apply Glossy Mod Podge to the back of the rectangle shape and glue to the traced shape.
Coat the paper with Glossy Mod Podge and apply the Podgeable Shape.
Next, I chose which Rub-On Transfer to use. Using the craft stick included, I simply placed the transfer in the spot I wanted and then rubbed the transfer onto the Podgeable Shape.
Add some ribbon and it’s ready to adorn that special package!
Since the back is paper, you can add your “to” and “from”!!
And the extra special bonus??
These Mod Podge Gift Tags double as an ornament!!
Imagine the possibilities!!
