It’s that time of year again!  The best food night of the year in my opinion is anything that you can eat while watching FOOTBALL!  I just love bar food and appetizers, ut I always struggle with dessert because I fill up on all of the other goodies.

Football Chocolate Covered Pretzels

I found these football shaped pretzels and I just knew that I had to make something with them for the Super Bowl!

These are super easy to make and I used dark chocolate for once instead of milk chocolate. The dark chocolate is less sweet and really blends well with the saltiness of the pretzel.

Supplies:

  • Football Shaped Pretzels (or reg. if you can’t find the football ones)
  • Wilton dark melting chocolate

I used the Wilton dark chocolate candy melts.  Melt the chocolate according to package instructions.  Dip the pretzels in the chocolate.  Allow excess chocolate to drip into bowl prior to placing on wax paper to dry.  Once the chocolate dries, add the football stitching with some white icing.  So easy and so yummy!

I’m going to have to make more football party snacks because these are already gone!  Thank goodness they are quick and easy! What are YOU making for your football party watching?
