An apple for teacher?  How about an appletini for teacher?  Help them celebrate another year in the books with this Appletini Teacher Appreciation Idea!

Apples are so last year.  Appletinis are the way to go!  I mean, let’s be serious.  Your kid is probably the reason the teacher drinks.  I’m kidding.  But it’s a trendy twist on an old favorite.

Warning:  Mom (or Dad) needs to take this one into school!!!

Appletini Teacher Appreciation Idea

All you need for this idea is a cute basket, a green apple (just for looks), apple flavored vodka and butterscotch Schnapps or liqueur.  We didn’t use the exact brands.  As long as the liquor is in airport sized bottles, it will work.  We used the Caramel Appletini recipe from UV Vodka.  It’s just 2 parts vodka to 1 part butterscotch Schnapps.  Shake with ice and pour into a martini glass.  You can leave the recipe on the back of the printable.

The printable says:

“Apples keep the doctors away
But what’s a teacher to do after a hard day?
Plain apples don’t say thank you enough
For all that you do and staying so tough.”

How adorable is that?!  I just love that Jennifer thought outside the box on this one.  What a fun idea!
