I think I have an obsession with making things from paper plates. Usually, I keep it simple and make a garland or mask. Today, I got a little bit more creative and came up with these Valentine Straw Toppers! And you will not believe how quickly you can whip these up!

I found these cute pink and red heart paper plates at Wal-mart for $1.00 per pack.

Begin by cutting out the hearts you want to use for the straws.

Using a standard hole punch, punch a hole below the top center of the heart and another one at the point of the heart.

Weave the paper straw through the two holes and slide it down about 2 inches.

How easy was that?! And they are so cute!
You can easily (and quickly) whip up a couple dozen of these straw toppers for your classroom Valentine party! Imagine them in cute little milk bottles!!

Add these to my Valentine Mocktail!!
