When this machine came out, it was revolutionary.  They have tested this machine to the limits and back.  Everyone needs this machine in their lives.  It makes creating so much easier!  I’ve had several readers ask, “What can the Cricut Explore cut?”  Just about anything is my usual answer!  But I think people would like me to be a little more specific than that.  Here is a brief overview of some projects I have created with my Cricut Explore.

I have used it to cut craft metal and created this fun Metal Flower Bicycle Wheel Wreath!  That’s right, ladies and gentleman – I cut those flowers with my Cricut Explore.  I could hardly believe it myself!  When it worked, I was giddy with excitement!

I’ve used it to cut 32 paper succulents that were featured in my Vertical Wall Planter.  And that blade was still cutting through the paper like butter even after cutting all of those succulents!

I have used it to cut wood for this DIY Wooden Banner!  This was created using balsa wood and the deep cut blade.

Cricut has been busy rolling out new materials to cut on the machine as well!  This craft foam cut smoothly to create these Craft Foam Straw Toppers!

I probably use it the most to cut adhesive vinyl such as with this DIY Clipboard Kids Art Display!  Adhesive vinyl is addictive!  It’s so much fun to create stuff and stick it on other stuff!  And I have oodles of posts that use it.  Check out my Cricut Projects page!

It will cut something as delicate as vellum or freezer paper to more rugged materials such as leather – you name it, this thing can cut it!

I love the versatility this offers makers!  This breaks down barriers allowing you to create a variety of projects with ONE machine.

Cricut Explore cuts more than you can imagine!
We have been pushing the Cricut Explore machine to its limits, and guess what we discovered? It can cut! It handles various types of paper, vinyl, foil, tape, and much more. Take a look at the complete Cricut Explore Cut List to explore the limitless possibilities of what you can create.

What are you waiting for?!  Let’s get creating!!
