I’ve been moderately obsessed with all things grape lately! Must be the popsicles. We have consumed A LOT of popsicles. Have you been to Sonic this summer? They have taken their slushies over the edge with the addition of everyone’s favorite candy…NERDS! I decided to try my hand and created this Copycat Grape Nerds Slushie! My husband and son patiently waited while I took pictures and then it was every man for himself.
This Copycat Grape Nerds Slushie is super easy to make!
Grab a bottle of Welch’s grape juice (or your favorite brand) from the grocery store. Then fill a bowl with the grape juice and place in freezer. Allow about 2-3 hours of freeze time. This will not freeze it all the way but makes it nice and slushie. Pour the grape NERDS on the slushie and mix up. Divide into cups, add a straw and make everyone’s day! I promise they will go nuts for this recipe!
For picture taking purposes, I did add some strawberry NERDS. I loved the taste with both in the slushie! But if you are a grape purist, just stick to the grape NERDS.
