Magnets are a simple way to update the look of your space! I am so over winter. I don’t know about you, but I am ready for green grass and warm weather! Last spring, I made these Simple DIY Magnets to adorn my Magnetic Chalkboard for my pantry door. Magnets are so versatile! To bring a little spring into our house this year, I made these silk flower magnets! Today, I’m going to show you how to make your own spring magnets with items you already have around the house using this simple tutorial!

Wanna make your own Silk Flower Magnets?
Here’s what you need:
Silk flowers
Magnets
Scissors
Hot glue
- Begin with a bunch of silk flowers. ”Pluck” them from their wire stems.
- Be sure to take off the green plastic around the base the of the flower. Trim the “stem” as close to the flower petals as possible without cutting the flower.
- Hot glue your magnets to the back of the flowers. Allow about 20 minutes to dry thoroughly.
I swapped out the red towels for the same green on the magnet board and these magnets really seem to brighten up the kitchen! This simple spring craft already has me preparing the rest of the house for warmer weather! I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been up to!
What do you do to change up the look of your decor between seasons?
