I have been racking my brain trying to figure out what to make for Reed’s Valentine party at school next month. I wanted to make something unique that all the kiddos would like. Since he is my “little monster”, I decided to create little ones for him and all his friends. These cute and fluffy Valentine Pom Monsters are too cute to be scary!

Wanna learn how to make your own Valentine Pom Monster?
Here’s what you need:
Yarn
Pom pom maker
Foam hearts
Googly eyes
Pipe cleaners
Hot glue gun
Each Valentine Pom Monster can be assembled in under five minutes!
I made my pom pom monster bodies utilizing my pom pom maker – the same one I used to create the Indoor Snowball Fight! {In case you missed that post, click here for instructions on how to use it.}
Next I cut two antennae from white pipe cleaner. Each antennae is 2 inches long. Hot glue small foam hearts to the ends and set aside.
Place a foam heart on a flat surface and hot glue your pom on top.
Next, hot glue your antennae on your pom monster body.
Finally, add some googly eyes and you are finished!
Seriously, Reed won’t leave them alone. I have to keep reminding him not to pull them apart because that’s what we are giving his friends for Valentine’s Day. He lines them up and talks to them. It’s hysterical.
Now, to come up with some cute printables to go along with the monsters…
What are you making for your kiddo’s Valentine’s Day party?
