Wait! Don’t throw out that empty toilet paper roll!
{Did that get your attention?}
That little roll of cardboard can be used for so many things {as Pinterest has made clear}. Not to mention, it is pretty difficult to wrap a gift card or other small items. Why not use it to create your own Toilet Paper Roll Pillow Boxes?
Wanna quick tutorial on how to make your own?
Here’s what you need:
Empty toilet paper rolls
Scrapbook paper
Twine (or yarn)
Take your empty toilet paper roll.
Fold one edge into a curve shape (as shown above). Next, fold the opposite side in the same shape. Repeat on the other end of the toilet paper roll.
Now to make it cute…
Take 6×6 inch scrapbook paper and cut into 2 1/2 inch strips.
Wrap around the pillow box and tape down. Adorn with twine, yarn or ribbon!
These are great for gift cards or small gifts like earrings or jewelry!
You can even add washi tape to add a little extra pizazz!
Observation: Nice toilet paper has cheap cardboard (easier to fold). Cheap industrial grade toilet paper has nice cardboard – harder to fold but no glue marks!
