Have you heard of glamping?
{Glam + camping = glamping}
Glamping is the newest travel craze! It includes awesome destinations with luxurious accommodations. The “tents” are decked out like a 5 star hotel complete with butlers! It sounds like so much fun!
Unfortunately, it’s a little out of my budget…and my friends’.
Every year, some girlfriends and I head south to go floating on the Ozark Scenic Waterway. This year, I decided to glam it up a bit for these happy glampers!
The swag…
I had not used the heat transfer material from Silhouette but this was the perfect excuse to give it a try! I busted out some dark pink heat transfer and made these adorable shirts!
The hair pins are simply floral scrapbook embellishments hot glued onto some bobby pins I got from my PYP grab box!
Keeping with the pink and black theme, I pulled out my pink vinyl adhesive and made these adorable personalized drinkin’ cups!
Then I packaged it all in these cute zebra craft bags that I found at Hobby Lobby!
The digs and decor…
Believe me when I say, this cabin was not luxurious. It was four cement block walls with two double beds and a bathroom. That being said, it sure beats putting up a tent!
To cutesy it up a bit, I made these cute little black yarn wreaths and added a floral hair clip.
My favorite part was the lantern lights! I used this adorable pink and black scrapbook paper and adhered it to some dixie cups. Then I made an “x” in the bottom with an Exacto knife and inserted the lights.
The happy glampers…
My friends were so excited to get their party favors! We had a great time eating, drinking, and laughing!
It was the perfect summer day – 88 degrees with plenty of sun. The float trip itself was a 6 mile tube float down the river which took 8 hours! {I thought we would never get off the river!}

I love it Jill! I haven’t used the heat transfer yet either… but as soon as my grandparents head back to the states, I’m going to get some new Silhouette goodies. I’m excited to try!
