This post was born out of necessity.  A good friend of mine and her kids were over one night.  They were all horsing around outside.  Well, her son and mine were wrestling and her other son pinned Reed.  Reed couldn’t get up and punched him in the face.  Talk about embarrassing.  Both boys came inside, you could tell something was wrong.  When we asked what happened, this whole story rolled out.  At any rate, I felt horrible.  But you know what?  Hallmark doesn’t carry a card for that.  I texted my friend the next day, “Sorry my kid punched your kid in the face.  If Hallmark made a card, I’d give it to you.”  Thankfully, she was totally cool about it.  I thought these Real Mom Cards were the perfect answer for any mother who has been embarrassed beyond belief.

Well when we started laughing about the lack of cards for such a situation, we started brainstorming all of the other embarrassing scenarios that would be appropriate.  LOL

I was reminded of the time I told my sister and her best friend where babies come from.  Her mom came back and told our mom.  The worst part was, I was totally wrong.  HAHA!

We’ve all had our moments.  We’ve all been there.  Why not laugh about it?
