Well, school has been in session for almost two weeks. Why is it that Reed decides the hour before school is the best time to ponder the meaning of life and the universe? If I’ve learned anything so far this school year, it is that he needs a little push to get things done in the mornings. In an effort to make life easier for myself and my husband, I created this Morning Checklist Printable! I figured if we needed it, someone else may need it as well.
Granted, if your children are older, they may need a more detailed list but this is a great starting point! I am literally reminding him every 5 minutes to finish breakfast. Or nagging him about brushing his teeth. I’m assuming this is just normal “growing pains” for parents when kids start back to school. Please tell me I’m right…LOL
Simply download the printable to your hard drive. Print on white cardstock. Place printable in an 8×10 frame. Your child can use a dry erase marker to mark off his morning chores each morning. Will easily erase for the next day!

Reed pointed out that my sentence is not complete regarding putting his clothes in the hamper. I was shortening for the printable but you try explaining that to a first grader who thinks he knows everything.
So what do you think? Will this help? I’m hoping so…
I would love for you to pin this image!
