How to Layer Adhesive Vinyl
Layering adhesive vinyl allows you to use more intricate designs and color palettes to achieve a cool look. Download your images here. Upload into your cutting machine’s software program and size the image to fit the platter you are working with. Cut your images by layer and set aside.
In this design, the yellow is the bottom layer. Use transfer tape to adhere the vinyl to the platter. Center the image and burnish with your scraper tool. Carefully remove transfer tape.
The next layer is the orange. Transfer the vinyl onto the transfer tape. Line up the orange layer with the yellow layer. Burnish the orange layer to the platter.
Follow the above process for the final layer.
