Thank you Glade for sponsoring this post. Feel Glade‘s Blooming Peony & Cherry™ and scents from the Limited Edition Spring Collection, Poppy Groove™ and Hello Spring™!

Every fall, my friends post on Facebook about how they are cozying up with a pumpkin spice latte and have lit their fall candles.  I must admit, I do the same thing.  With winter winding down, our thoughts turn to spring.  I’m hoping by lighting my Glade spring candles and adding some spring decor, spring will come out of hiding!

This DIY Spring Decor was inspired by the new Glade Seasonal Scents! #ad #FeelGlade #CG

I created this playful spring plaque inspired by Glade‘s Limited Edition Spring Collection – Poppy Groove™ and Hello Spring™!

Here’s what you need to create your own DIY Spring Decor:

Unfinished wood plaque

Stain

Adhesive vinyl stencil

Off white acrylic craft paint

Blotter sponge brush

Paper

Hot glue gun

Begin by staining your wooden plaque.  Next you will attach your adhesive vinyl stencil.  I made mine with my die cutter machine.

Gently blot on the paint.  Be careful not to get paint outside the edge of the stencil.

Once the paint dries, carefully remove the vinyl.

Then I created some red poppies with my die cut machine to add a pop of spring color!

Don’t you just love the colors?!  The green is the Hello Spring™ scent.  It smells so fresh!  Makes me want to crank up the music and open the windows!  (Unfortunately, I can’t throw the windows open because they are frozen.  But a girl can dream, right?)

Not only do they have these awesome candles, they also have candle warmers!!  Trendy and fun!  The Limited Edition Spring Collection scents are also available in the wax melts.

Are you ready to get your Poppy Groove on and say Hello Spring?!  (See what I did there?)
