Summertime calls for special drinks. I decided to make this Cotton Candy Lemonade as a special treat and it was delicious! It also turned out pretty cute!
Cotton Candy Lemonade
The lemonade itself is nothing special. We just used the Crystal Light lemonade that we always have around the house. You can make your own from scratch or be lazy like me. I grabbed a bag of cotton candy at the Dollar Tree and adorned the top of the lemonade with it.
Kids will LOVE the cotton candy part! The cool part is when you dunk the cotton candy into the lemonade. It adds just an extra punch of sweet AND turns it green!
That pretty much made me the coolest mom ever. Of course, the color of your cotton candy will determine the final color of the lemonade.
Now I know this isn’t the healthiest drink in the world. But it is fun to try something different and surprise the kids! And honestly, sometimes it’s the little things, right?
