This Conversation Heart Valentine Treat Box is perfect for classroom parties!

First, can we just talk about how cute his little hands still look even though he is NINE?!  My heart swoons.  But I digress…

I found the cutest little heart shaped boxes at Michaels the other day and knew I could dress them up a little for Valentine’s Day.  Sadly, they only come in red.  BUT they are still super cute and this is an easy way to decorate them.  They even come with baker’s twine and little gift tags too!

Materials needed for Conversation Heart Valentine Treat Box

Cricut Explore or Maker
White adhesive vinyl
Light grip mat
Cricut basic tool set
Letter stickers (if you do not own a cutting machine)
Transfer tape
Heart shaped boxes

Sign into Cricut Design Space and click HERE for the Make It Now project.  If you want to change the font, click customize.  Load the white adhesive vinyl onto a light grip mat and cut.

Carefully weed away the excess vinyl.  Using the transfer tape, apply your convo heart phrase to the heart container.

Burnish the vinyl with the scraper tool included in your basic tool set.  Gently peel back the transfer tape and remove from the heart box.

Now fill the cute little Conversation Heart Valentine Box with your favorite treats to pass out to the kiddos!

Because I need to lose another 20 pounds before going to Hawaii, I purposefully did not fill them with candy.  I have no will power.

What other phrases should I add?  (I’m not a fan of the new tech-y ones like ‘text me’ and ‘U R A 10’.)
