I know that finding new and exciting things to do throughout the summer can be overwhelming.  Sometimes it feels like you keep doing the same things over and over again.  Next time the kids are bored, invite the neighbors over for this fun Splash Party!  The best part?  It cost less than $20 from the dollar store!

 I mean seriously.  Could this BE any more fun?  {Spoken in my best Chandler Bing voice.}

I took the little rugrat to our local dollar store and we had a blast picking out the goodies for this party.

Here’s what I grabbed from the store…

  • Plastics pails and shovels
  • Water bomb balls (2 for 1 pack)
  • Water bomb sling shot
  • Water balloons
  • 5 packs of sponges (2 in each pack)
  • Elastic hair ties
  • Water guns (4 pack and a 2 pack)
  • Plastic tablecloth

I used my Cricut Explore to spruce up the bucket and the bubble dispenser.  A little adhesive vinyl makes everything cuter!

In all fairness, I had the bubble dispenser but you can pick up something similar for pretty cheap.

I whipped up several more Sponge Balls like the ones I used in my Sponge Ball Water Fight and threw those in the bucket.

My favorite part is the Pool Noodle Garland!  This is totally optional.  I grabbed the pre-cut pool noodles from Michaels but you can grab foam pool noodles and cut them up to achieve the same look.

Lastly, I threw together this cute Splash Party Rules Printable!  Click HERE for that free printable!

Just lay it out on the table and let them have a hay day!

Get the essentials for less than $20!!

Isn’t that fun?  Those water toys have definitely gotten a work out this summer!  The cousins have had a blast chasing each other around the yard and my heart sings when the air is filled with their tiny giggles of delight!

Kinda makes you want to be a kid again, doesn’t it?
