Embroidery Hoop Floral Orb Supplies
2 wooden embroidery hoops
Hot glue gun
Silk flowers
Twine
Begin by separating your wooden embroidery hoops. Set aside the outside rings. Take the two internal hoops and slide one inside the other. Hot glue together.
Use one of the outer rings and place around the glued together inner rings. Tighten the screw on top and hot glue together. Some of the hoops will be tight enough that you may not be able to hot glue together.
Set orb aside and allow to dry. Grab your silk flowers. Begin plucking the greenery and flowers off the plastic stems. We will be recompiling these later inside the orbs.
Now it’s time to arrange the flowers inside the orb. Begin by adding the greenery. Hot glue into place. Continue adding greenery until you like the way it looks.
Begin arranging the flowers themselves on top of the greenery. Hot glue into place. Continue adding flowers until the middle looks full.
To hang, you will add twine around the screw on the top of the orb. I added a small bow to cover the knot from which the twine was attached.
This Embroidery Hoop Floral Orb can be made in any size with any arrangement of flowers!
I love the elegant look of it. These would be beautiful wedding or brunch decorations.
Imagine a rustic barn wedding with these gorgeous orbs! Too pretty!
