Today’s post is going to stray a bit from the norm.  I’m not going to lie.  Recent world events have been weighing heavy on my heart.  From the attacks in Paris to the shooting in San Bernadino, the world seems to be on the brink of chaos.  I can’t help but ponder the climate in which I am raising my son.

My precious son who has no idea what any of it means.  He still has an air of innocence about him.  He still sees the good in people.  How can I raise him to be kind to people when he sees that not everyone is kind?  How can I teach him to fight with words instead of weapons?  I realize that it is naive of me to think I can protect him from the evil in the world.

The lyrics to “Imagine” by John Lennon have been playing on repeat in my head.  I’m not advocating lack of faith or religion, but I am advocating we put aside our differences and learn to live together.  Hopefully, this Imagine Printable can hang in your house and heart as we teach our dear children to believe in peace.

I hope this Imagine Printable will hang in your house and heart as we try to remember to teach our children peace. via createcraftlove.com
