Are you all ready for the big craftin’ swag giveaway?

Amber at Crazy Little Projects had a crazy little idea to gather tutorials and crafting supplies from some bloggy friends and raffle off the ENTIRE supply to one lucky person!

Amber from Crazy Little Projects is featuring a  Washi Tape Notebook and Pen Set
Amy from Nap Time Crafters is featuring a Retro Pillowcase Romper
Melanie from Reasons to Skip the Housework is featuring Fabric Jars
& Courtney from Sweet C’s is featuring a Burlap Wrapped Bud Vase

Isn’t that a GREAT line up!!

Please head over to these lovely ladies’ blogs and check out their projects!

The craft stash that YOU have a chance to win includes:
Pillowcase (for a pillowcase dress), washi tape, notebooks, candle holders, fabric and mod podge, vinyl, and more!

My contribution to this craft stash was vinyl.  I love vinyl!  It is so versatile – not to mention, easy to use!  My roving Pinterest eye had spied a Kitchen Aid mixer vinyl makeover and decided to give it a try!  What do you have to lose?  It peels off!

I whipped out the ol’ Cameo and got to work!  I started by measuring the top of my mixer.  Turns out to be 4 inches by 10 inches.  To make sure I stayed within those measurements, I adjusted the aspect ratio on my Silhouette software.

Since I was using the “Keep Calm” saying, I chose the London Tube font and added a cute cupcake image {Cupcake by Lettering Delights ID #7550} to the top!

Once my vinyl was cut, I carefully peeled away all the extra vinyl.

Once the extra vinyl has been removed, remove the “insides” of the letters.

Now you are ready to transfer it to the transfer paper.  Place the sticky side of the transfer paper on top of your cut out.  Rub firmly and slowly peel away from the vinyl backing.

Repeat the process with the cupcake.

Now you are ready to apply it to the mixer.  Place the sticky side to the area where you want the vinyl.  Rub firmly and slowly peel away.  Make sure there are no bubbles in the vinyl.

Seriously, how cute is that?
