Did you know that Michaels now sells pre-made and stained pallets?  Do you know how much time that saves me?  This busy mom loves convenience!  After I created my Home State Decal, I wanted something to hang on the wall with that cute little graphic I had created!   I created a vinyl stencil in Cricut Design Space to create this Home State Wall Art!  Create your own using YOUR home state as the “O”!

I began by creating the graphic in Design Space.  I used the 12 x 24 inch cutting mat to cut out the pattern.  I weeded the excess vinyl.

Carefully remove vinyl from backing and center on the pallet.

Next, I began painting.

It took two coats to cover.

Allow to dry completely before removing the vinyl.

Once dry, carefully peel away the vinyl to reveal your finished project!

Warning:  The vinyl I used did remove some wood.  My home decor is industrial farmhouse so it works.  🙂

I LOVE how this turned out!  My husband even likes it which is always a plus.

Isn’t it gorgeous?  The rustic feel fits in perfectly with my little house!
