I have quite a few sweaters that I no longer wear but I just can’t bring myself to get rid of them.  Thankfully, I am a bit of a pack rat when it comes to clothes {my size fluctuates too much…LOL}.  So I cut them apart to make these cute Sweater Wrapped Packages just for YOU!

Aren’t they pretty?  Adds a kind of rustic elegance to the package!

I chose to use my berry twigs and some twine to top it off, but of course you can do anything.

I cut the neck off an old cable knit turtle neck for this medium sized package.  For smaller packages, use the arms.  For larger packages, use the body.

Simply stretch it around the box and add your own embellishments and adornments!  I thought about going to Goodwill to stock up on sweaters and making more of these pretty paper packages! I think it would be so cute with a pink sweater and some pretty ornaments!

I love how winter-y and pretty it looks!

What do you think?  Would you sacrifice a sweater for gift wrap?  {hee hee} That’s blogger dedication if you ask me!

Until next time….

Happy Wrapping!
