These Popsicle Recipes will help get you through the hot, summer days ahead!
Memorial Day is this coming weekend! And you know what that means. It’s the official start of summer! Living in southwest Missouri, it will be unbearable in a couple of weeks. Popsicles were a mainstay of my childhood. Nothing screams summer more than frozen liquid on a stick…ha! I even threw in a couple of adult popsicle recipes for after the kids go to sleep!
Do you know the history of the popsicle? Supposedly a kid was mixing powdered soda and water together on his porch and accidentally left it out over night. It froze with his stirring stick in it and thus the first popsicle was born.

Choosing the mold is part of the fun these days! You can get anything from a standard popsicle mold to creature popsicle molds. These will add extra fun to making one of these popsicle recipes with the kids! Of course there is nothing wrong with using an old fashioned Dixie cup and popsicle stick either.
