I love the farmhouse feel of these Mason Jar Halloween Ornaments!
After creating my Canning Lid and Washi Tape Halloween Wreath, I had a lot of mason jar lids left over. 84 to be exact. I knew I could use them to create something awesome. A couple of years ago, I made some Mason Jar Lid Gift Tags. They were a huge hit! I thought I could put a new spin on it and created these Mason Jar Halloween Ornaments! {Yes, I have a Halloween tree. Don’t judge.}

Materials needed to create Mason Jar Halloween Ornaments
Cricut Explore or Maker
Adhesive vinyl
Halloween scrapbook paper
Light grip mat
Basic tool set
Transfer tape
Fine point blade
Canning lids
3 inch circle hole punch
Mod podge
These are easy to create! I used a 3 inch circle hole punch to cut out the patterned scrapbook paper and mod podged it to the canning lid. Set aside and allow to dry completely.
Then I cut out the silhouettes with my Cricut Explore. I used the image set Pumpkin Carvings. Size the images to just under 3 inches.
Cut the images on black adhesive vinyl.
Using your weeding tool, weed out the negative space from the cut image and adhere over the patterned paper using transfer tape. Apply another coat of mod podge and allow to dry.
Finally, I attached some black sequins for hanging. You can totally use ribbon or twine too.
Isn’t it adorable? After I took this picture, I added some black and orange glass ball ornaments to fill in the space on my tree.
I love the orange and white striped paper showing through the silhouettes!
