Do you have a bunch of old CDs laying around the house? Want to upcycle them into something new? I have got a super cute stocking stuffer idea for you today! Not to mention, it costs next to nothing to create! All you need is an old CD case and some Scotch Expressions tape to create your own 2014 DIY Calendar Case!
Wanna make your own DIY Calendar Case?
Here’s what you need:
Old CD case
Scotch Expressions® Tape
Begin by taking the CD case apart. Apply tape across the outside of the case.
I added the cute patterned tape to the edges to give it a little flare!
Once the front is covered, flip the case over and using the cutting blade and cutting mat, trim the excess tape.
Repeat the process with the back of the CD case. Then I added a little vinyl “2014” to the case cover. When you open the CD case and hyperextend the cover, it acts as a stand!
I am lovin’ the new Scotch Expressions tape! It comes in cute little coordinating packs or in solitary rolls. We got to play with this stuff at SNAP! 2013. The new line is AH-mazing!
And as promised, here are your 2014 Calendar Printables! Each printable is 4.75 inches by 5 inches and will fit perfectly in a standard CD case. Every month has a different quote at the bottom of the page!
