At the end of a long day, stress and tension can run amok! My muscles feel tight, my eyes are sore, and my head aches. One of the things I love about my essential oils, is that it helps relieve that tension and stress! I made this DIY Eye Mask to whip out at the end of a trying day!
Here’s what you need:
Eye Mask template
Fabric
Sewing machine with coordinating thread
1.5 cups Flax seed
6-8 drops of Peppermint essential oil

Print the template and cut out. Attach to your fabric of choice with pins. Follow the template to cut your fabric.
You will need to cut TWO of these.
Place right sides together and pin.
Using a 1/4 inch seam allowance, sew around the edge of the mask leaving the straight edge at the top open.
Once sewn, turn right side out.
In a separate bowl, mix together 1.5 cups of flax seed with 6-8 drops of peppermint essential oil.
Fill with flax seed and peppermint mixture.
Sew shut using a top stitch around the mask.
Peppermint oil is a soothing and helps relieve tension in the head and neck. You could also cool it in the freezer!
