Glitter Dipped Easter Eggs are a fun spin on the traditional Easter egg! I am kind of obsessed with dipping things in glitter. My Glitter Dipped Christmas Candles were such a hit, I decided to put an Easter spin on the project. {If you missed the Glitter Dipped Christmas Candles, click here.} Don’t worry, these eggs are paper mache so they can’t spoil. The bright colors and sparkles make me long for spring!
Wanna make your own Glitter Dipped Easter Eggs?
Here’s what you need:
Paper mache eggs
Paint
Glitter
Paintbrush
Mod Podge
Begin by painting your paper mache eggs. This will take at least two coats (three on the green). Set aside to dry.
Once the eggs are dry, brush some Mod Podge on the bottom half of the egg. {I used Sparkle Mod Podge because it’s my favorite to use with glitter projects.}
Roll your eggs through the glitter. Set aside and allow to dry.
Here are all of them in the egg carton. They are so pretty and colorful!
Minus drying time, this takes about ten minutes. It actually took me longer to clean up the mess I made. LOL
These Glitter Dipped Easter Eggs are now my new favorite glitter project!
How do you decorate your Easter eggs?

Hello, I’m new to the whole crafting thing. This may sound a little weird, but what type of mod podge do I use? When I looked it up to see where to buy I saw diff types like “matte” or “satin” mod podge. Just wondering what’s the best for over-all crafting. And is mod podge kid-friendly or is this something I should do on my own? Thanks!
Not a weird question at all! There is a great guide on the Plaid website that walks you through type of Mod Podge for the specific craft you have in mind. Here’s the link http://www.plaidonline.com/eduPDF/MP_Formula_Guide.pdf Mod Podge is glue so I would say if they are old enough to use glue, they can help. Just supervise them so it doesn’t get everywhere! LOL Thanks so much for stopping by, Holly!
Super cute & simple! I love the colors spring time brings. I can’t wait for it to get here.
Thanks Nikki!
