I love when I have a scathingly brilliant idea! While perusing Pinterest the other night, I found this great tutorial for coffee filter flowers. I started thinking, “I wish they made colored coffee filters.” Then I realized they do! They just aren’t called coffee filters…they are called CUPCAKE LINERS! I scrambled to the store to grab what was left of the Christmas cupcake liners and got busy making these Cupcake Liner Bows!
{Not to mention they look super cute in their little “cupcake liner pot”…LOL}
I used a great tutorial from Brown Paper Packages. You can find the tutorial here.
For each small cupcake liner bow, I used about six liners. For the larger ones I used eight.
Instead of leaving the long floral wire stem, I created a loop and used my wire cutters to trim off the extra.
You can group them together and create one HUGE bow or use them individually. Either way, they look great on the packages!
Again, upcycling and reusing is the name of the game! You can create some beautiful from just about anything you have laying around the house!

Until next time….
Happy Wrapping!

So cute and creative!
Merry Christmas Jill!!
Thanks so much, Kristy! Merry Christmas to you too!
These are so sweet! I love this idea for personalizing a package.
Thanks Shannon! I can’t decide if I like these or the mason jar lid ones better!
Oh my goodness, these are so adorable! I always stick with brown kraft paper to wrap presents and spice it up with different ribbons and decorations and these are just so awesome! I’ll definitely be adding these to my gift wrapping repertoire!
Stopping by from the Create and Inspire party!
Thanks Megan! I am kind of in love with those myself!
I wish I had known about this trick in college. My sorority’s flower was a pink carnation, and we would have bought out every cupcake liner in town making these up!
Thanks!
Those would have been perfect! Maybe make them for an alumnae event – that could be fun!
Too cute!!! Love them!!
Thanks Crystal!
