  Yesterday, I shared with you my Nevermore Wreath! Today, we are “panning out” with the camera and I am showing off the rest of the porch.  My Raven Inspired Halloween Porch was very easy and fun to create!

A pin I found from Good Housekeeping gave me the idea for the porch.
 

 

Create your own Raven Inspired Halloween Porch

Last week, Reed and I went on a stick and branch gathering adventure at my dad’s house.  Dad lives in the middle of the woods so fallen branches are plentiful.  As I was working hard at finding branches that were light enough and tall enough for the porch, Reed was gathering smaller sticks that he proclaimed were “his size”.
We loaded up my CR-V and headed home with our woody finds.  (Reed insisted on bringing some of his sticks.)
 
To secure the branches to the porch, I tied fishing line around the branches and the posts.
Then I added the ravens I bought at Garden Ridge to bring the theme together.

I wanted to keep with the black and white theme, so I used black and white pumpkins that I got onsale at Michael’s last fall.

What do you think?  Too plain without orange?
