Materials needed to make your own Elf Yo’Self Christmas Shirt

Cricut Explore or Maker
Iron on vinyl
Light grip mat
Basic tool set
Fine point blade
White shirt
EasyPress 2 
EasyPress Mat

1. Begin by downloading the free file below and upload it into Cricut Design Space.
2. Measure your shirt and size the image appropriately in the software.
3. Once finalized, send the image to cut and follow directions for cutting.  
4. Don’t forget to mirror your image as you are working with iron on vinyl.  Otherwise your design will be backwards.
5. Repeat above process for each color layer.
6. Weed excess vinyl away from image using the basic tool set.
7. Set EasyPress to 315 degrees.  Pre-heat tshirt for 5 seconds.  Arrange image on shirt.  Apply heat and pressure for 30 seconds.  Flip material over and apply heat for an additional 15 seconds.
8. Peel away clear liner while warm.

This sign reminds me of something you would see in an old Christmas movie like “Holiday Inn” or “White Christmas”. It makes me want to settle down in a ski lodge, surrounded by snow and pine trees decorating for Christmas. This is a mini sign but you can change the sizing in Design Space to make it larger.

Materials needed for Christmas Tree Farmhouse Sign

Cricut Explore or Maker
Adhesive vinyl
Light grip mat
Basic tool set
Transfer tape
Fine point blade
Unfinished framed canvas

There are several options for finishing this piece. Choose whichever material you want to use to display this image.

1. Begin by downloading the free file below and upload into Cricut Design Space.
2. Measure your sign and size image appropriately in the software.
3. Once finalized, send the image to cut and follow directions for cutting.  
4. Weed excess vinyl away from image using the basic tool set.
5. Peel back transfer tape and place directly over the image.  Use the scraper tool to burnish image to the transfer tape.  Gently peel the transfer tape away from the vinyl backing.  The vinyl image should now be on the transfer tape.
6. Arrange the transfer tape with the vinyl image on the sign.  Burnish with scraper tool to adhere to the sign.
7. Carefully peel back the transfer tape.  Your image should now be affixed to the sign.

As a kid, there is nothing more exciting than waking up Christmas morning to gifts from Santa. As an adult, there is nothing better than seeing the looks on their faces as they are filled with the magic of the season. My favorite part of the holiday is Christmas morning. You can surprise some adults with these too! These gift tags are a great way to make the magic of Christmas come to life!

These cards do NOT have my son’s name on them. I added that in Photoshop so they looked complete. Below is a picture of how they look blank.

This download includes one page with 4 gift tags on it. You can print as many copies as you like. Simply download the image from the link listed below. I use white cardstock because it is sturdier than normal computer paper. (You can find it here.) Be sure your color ink cartridge is full. Print on white cardstock. You guys.  This is not a drill.  I repeat.  This is not a drill.  The holidays are coming!  Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away.  Where did the year go?  If you’re anything like me, you get caught up in the craziness of the season and forget to enjoy the little things.  This year you can stay ahead of the game!  This printable pack is so useful and will help keep you from losing your mind.  Then you can take time to enjoy some new Christmas traditions with your family.

The Holiday Planner is a 12 page download.  Each download includes a blank November and December calendar, planning timeline, master gift list, holiday budget worksheet, address list, holiday menu planning, holiday baking checklist and a holiday photo checklist.  You can print extra copies of the address list page.  And I’ve left blank spots to add items to the holiday baking checklist.  I purposely didn’t date anything so it can be used year after year.

You all know I’m all about saving time.  Between working full time outside the home, raising a family and running this here ole blog, I have very little free time.  So I LOVE it when a project can be thrown together quickly and just in time for the holidays!  This Chalky Finish Christmas Frame is perfect for holiday decor or as a last minute Christmas present!  Oh, and I included a free printable.

Materials needed to create Chalky Finish Christmas Frame

Unfinished wooden frame
Americana chalky finish paint
Paintbrush
Americana creme wax finish

I began with an unfinished wooden frame.  You can pick one up at your local Michaels Store!

Pro tip:  Use a foil cupcake liner for easy painting and clean up!

The Americana® Decor™ Chalky Finish Paint color is Enchanted.  It’s the perfect color of green.  What I love about this paint, is how well it covers!  I used ONE COAT!  That’s it!  It applies easily and leaves such a crisp clean look.

Allow the paint to dry.

Once dry, I used the Americana® Decor™ Clear Creme Wax to protect the paint.

They have a variety of other wax finishes and varnishes to choose from to create your own custom look.  I took a clean lint free cloth and gently applied the wax finish.  It dries quickly (another bonus!).

 Once the wax was dry, I added my Christmas quote – “I will honor Christmas and keep it in my heart all the year.”

Add some ribbon to hang and it is finished!

Christmas is coming!  I’m so excited!  This is my absolute favorite time of the year!  I had oodles of red gumballs leftover from Reed’s birthday party and knew I could put a Rudolf twist on it.  How cute is this Reindeer Noses Printable?  Perfect stocking stuffer idea or classroom party favor!

Seriously.  How cute is that?!  The brown gumballs are actually root beer flavored!  I thought they would be gross but they are my new fave! (Watch for them because I have only seen them seasonally.) If you can’t find the gumballs, you could totally use M&Ms!

Simply print on white cardstock, cut out and add to the gumball tube!  I thought it would be cute just to put one red one in the bottom of the tube and the rest brown for the other reindeer. The kids will go nuts!  I dressed up my gumball tubes with a little washi tape too.
