I LOVE football parties!  In particular, Super Bowl parties.  Like I’ve said, I’m usually in charge of ambiance.  I get a kick out of decorating and coming up with fun party themes. These Astroturf Football Coasters are a fun addition to any sports themed party!  They also make great hostess gifts!

You won’t believe how easy these were to put together!

Did you know that large home improvement stores have astroturf samples?  AND they are the perfect size for a 4.5 in x 4.5 in piece of bathroom tile?

MIND.BLOWN.

I offered to pay for the samples when checking out and she just brushed me off.

I know what you’re thinking.  If they have pre-cut astroturf, why add the tile?  And the answer is simple.  Astroturf has holes in it and wouldn’t protect your furniture.  So you have to add the tile to prevent water spots.

Simply adhere your astroturf to the tile with a little E6000.  (My favorite industrial grade adhesive!)

Allow 24 hours to set and dry.

That’s it!

How easy is that?!  Not to mention, they are super festive and fun!  My husband was very impressed (and it takes a lot to impress him).

Time to make:  5 minutes
