You guys are going to die!  These Red Velvet Cake Truffles are the PERFECT sweet treat for your Valentine.  I have to admit.  My hubby was a little hesitant but once he tasted the final product, he was sold!  The best part?  They are no bake!

I’ve seen tons of recipes for no bake cake truffles but this one is super easy and scrumptious!

Ingredients:

1 cup red velvet cake mix

1/2 cup softened butter

1/2 cup sugar

1 1/2 cups flour

1 tsp vanilla

3-5 tbsp milk (should be the consistency of play dough)

White vanilla almond bark

Red crystal sprinkles

Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine butter and sugar until creamy.  Slowly mix in vanilla.  Next, add the cake mix and flour.  Slowly add the milk.  (3 tbsp was the perfect amount!)  Beat until the consistency of play dough.

Roll dough into small 1 inch balls.  Place on a cookie sheet and allow to chill for about 15 minutes.  (This step will make them stand up to the heat of the melted almond bark without falling apart.)

Melt almond bark according to package instructions.  Dip the rolled dough balls and place on wax paper to dry.  Sprinkle with red crystal sprinkles.

Store and refrigerate in an airtight container.
