Succulents are STILL all the rage this spring!  I’ve seen them everywhere!  From Target to Joann Fabrics, succulents are popping up and not going away!  Add some washi tape and you have one trendy decoration!  Check out these Washi Tape Succulent Pots!

Here’s what you need to make your own Washi Tape Succulent Pots!

Potted succulent

Paint and paint brush

Washi tape

Exacto knife

I began by painting the pot a light cream color.  {The gray was showing through the tape.}  Once the paint is dry, begin adding the washi tape.

Keep adding the washi tape until the entire pot is covered.  You will have some overlap.

Using your Exacto knife, cut away the excess washi tape from the base of the pot.

washisucculent4

Fold the washi tape over the top edge and again cut away the excess tape.

That’s it!  How easy is that?  Don’t you just love the versatility of washi tape?
