We are entering the final countdown!  Less than 48 hours until Christmas morning.  I know everyone is running around like chickens with their heads cut off.  If you are still in search of a quick and easy baked goods recipe, try this No Fuss Double Decker Fudge!  It takes less than five minutes to prepare!

Make your own No Fuss Double Decker Fudge

Ingredients:

1 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup of peanut butter chips
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla

  1. Line a 9×9 inch pan with aluminum foil.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl, combine 1 cup of peanut butter chips and 2/3 cup of sweetened condensed milk. Microwave at half power for 1 minute. Remove from microwave and stir. Keep microwaving in 1 minute increments until smooth. Once smooth, add 1/2 tsp vanilla and stir.
  3. Pour mixture into lined pan.
  4. Repeat process with semi-sweet chocolate chips and 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk.
  5. Pour chocolate mixture on top of peanut butter mixture.
  6. Cover and refrigerate until firm.
  7. Remove from pan and peel away foil.
  8. Cut into 1/2 inch or 1 inch pieces.

The chocolate and peanut butter combo will remind you of Reese’s peanut butter cups!  You may have to limit yourself.

People will think you slaved over the stove for hours!  Don’t worry – I’ll keep your secret.

My fudge was a little thinner than usual because I cannot find my 9×9 inch pan.  I used small rectangular pan but it tastes the same.

To store, place in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

I love an easy candy recipe than even the kiddos can help!  Reed pretty much did the whole thing besides pouring it into the pan.  He was pretty proud of himself.  {And yes – he wore his cute Christmas Kid’s Apron!}

I took this fudge to work and it was gone before the end of the day!

What’s your favorite fudge recipe?  Leave it in the comments for everyone to enjoy!
