How is it already Mother’s Day? The year just keeps creeping along. Since Mother’s Day completely escaped my notice until my weekly trip to Wal-mart, I needed something quick to come up with for my mother in law. These Paper Flower Frames are a great last minute Mother’s Day gift idea!
Wanna make your own Paper Flower Frames?
Here’s what you need:
Cricut {cutting machine – I used my Explore}
Scrapbook paper
Glue stick
Pictures of your special little kiddo
I used image #M46F2E from the Holiday Cakes cartridge and resized it to 5 3/4 inches x 5 3/4 inches. Pick out some coordinating scrapbook paper and get to cutting!
You will cut two pieces to create your frame.
Glue the smaller circle onto the flower.
Add your pictures and you are set!
I created two different looks with this one project!
The first is the Paper Flower Frames bouquet of pictures as seen at the beginning of the post.
This makes a great centerpiece for your Mother’s Day brunch or dinner!
And when the celebration is over, you can easily add magnets to create Paper Flower Frame Magnets for the fridge!
I love projects with dual purposes!
I did end up laminating these after I took the post pictures. That way they are more durable and will last!
Did you wait to the last minute for Mother’s Day gifts too? Or is it just me?
