Today we are going “au natural” and incorporating items from nature into our gift wrap.  There are such beautiful things in nature this time of year that are perfect for adorning packages.  From pine cones to berries, you can use just about anything to create this Natural Gift Wrap!

I’ve used natural elements before when creating wreaths, so why not gift wrap?  I went down to the “Wreath Cemetery” in my basement and started collecting supplies.  The pine cone, greenery and seed pod are from a wreath I did for Live.Laugh.Rowe.  {You can find that tutorial here.}

I used a small piece of felt to hot glue all the different items into one workable piece.  Then simply, add them to your package and secure with a length of twine!

Sadly, the berries are NOT real but they are found in nature {at least that’s how I’m justifying it}.  But I thought they looked so pretty and festive!

The star is made from sticks I found in the yard.  I broke off five equal length pieces to create it.  I used twine to tie each point together.  Then I added a little washi tape for color and again secured with twine!

I love the rustic look of the Natural Gift Wrap!  Looks like something you would find sitting beneath a gorgeous Douglas fir in a ski lodge.

Until next time…

Happy Wrapping!
