This Ecclesiastes bible verse is one of my favorites. (For reference this is Ecclesiastes 3:1-8) It reminds us that we are always changing and this season of life is not permanent. It is about accepting where you are in the present. Every time I read it, I can hear The Bryds singing it.

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Customizable Thanksgiving Printables

These Customizable Thanksgiving Printables are great for holiday hosting!

With less than a month to go until Thanksgiving, it’s time to start planning and preparing for the upcoming festivities. I created these cute printables to make hosting easier than ever. This printable bundle includes an invitation, menu and tent cards. The tent cards can be used for place cards or food labels on your holiday spread. Everything you need is right here!

How to customize your Thanksgiving Printables

Follow directions below on how to download your files.
Open picmonkey.com.
Click edit image and choose the file you want to edit from the download.
In the gray side bar, click “text”.
This opens a new window in the bar next to it. Click the blue “add text” button.
Choose your font. (The fonts I used are from PicMonkey. The script is called Saturday Script and the print is called Lexend Mega Extralight.)
Once you click on the font, it will bring a text box up over the image. From here you can fill in with your specific information. You can adjust the size of the font with the box or with the toolbar to the left.
Repeat until you have all of your information entered.

If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know I’m a huge FRIENDS fan. The Thanksgiving episodes are comedy gold. My favorite is the one where Rachel makes the trifle. Well, she attempts to make a trifle. I’m cracking up inside my head even as I picture it. Rachel attempts to make dessert for Thanksgiving dinner but the pages of the recipe book are stuck together. It ends up being a mash up of trifle and shepherds pie. Absolutely hysterical.

I love a good holiday printable! I thought these utensil holders were perfect for the dinner table. They are super easy to print up and assemble. It adds such a fun touch to your holiday gathering. Pairs well with our Thanksgiving Dinner Conversation Starters!

Materials needed for Thanksgiving Printable Utensil Holders

Each printable pack includes 4 different utensil holders with unique sayings.

“Leftovers are for quitters”
“Get basted”
“Here come the meat sweats”
“Talk turkey to me”

Simply download the printable pack from the link listed below. (For best results, I recommend printing these utensil holders on white cardstock which is much sturdier to use with silverware.)

The utensil holder printables have dotted lines for cutting and folding. Cut along the vertical dotted lines using a paper cutter or scissors. Fold the paper along the dotted line running underneath the image. Glue the edges together to create a pocket. Add your utensils and place on your Thanksgiving table!

Free Turkey Printables for Thanksgiving

I saw the cutest towel at the hospital gift shop the other day that said, “Let’s Get Basted”. It totally reminded me of those Holderness Family parody videos on Facebook. They did a video two years ago to the popular Meghan Trainor song, “All About That Bass” but changed it to “All About that Baste”. It’s absolutely hysterical. Anyway, all of these things inspired me to create these cute little Turkey Printables! (In case you were wanting a glimpse into my creative process – LOL!)

Each download pack includes eight 8.5 x 11 inch printables. There are four sayings. Each saying has a color version and a black and white version included. The sayings include “All About That Baste”, “Get Your Fat Pants Ready”, “Let’s Get Basted” and “Wine Until You Gobble”. You can totally size these down if you want. (You can google that info if you really want it. I don’t address that in this post.) These printables would be cute framed around the house on Thanksgiving or even made into tags for leftover bags! I thought I might make them into utensil holders for our Thanksgiving table.

Thankful Tree with Free Printable

What are your Thanksgiving traditions? Do you aim to teach your kids about the first Thanksgiving? How about instilling in them an attitude of gratitude? Every November, we dedicate our thoughts to all the things we are thankful for but what about the rest of the year? This Thankful Tree with Free Printable is a wonderful way to teach kids to count their blessings!

This Thankful Tree makes a wonderful centerpiece for your harvest table! Simply grab a couple of sticks from the yard and a hurricane vase to showcase. Download the Thankful Tree Free Printable Pack by following the directions below. Each download pack includes 5 pages of pre-filled leaves and one blank page for you to add your own blessings.

Print the download pack on white cardstock. Once your leaves are printed, cut them out. This is a great activity for kindergartners and 1st graders! Helps with fine motor skills and using scissors. I backed all of my leaves with patterned cardstock so when they turned, it didn’t show white. But that is completely up to you. I used a hole punch and added some twine before hanging on our Thankful Tree.

It’s pretty awesome to hear what your children are thankful for. I love that this gives them a grateful heart!

Thankful Printables

I believe we all have so much to be thankful for. It’s like the old saying goes, “Count Your Blessings”. I know life is not always perfect and not always what we imagined it would be. But look around you. Who or what are you thankful for this holiday season? Sometimes when we take time to stop and be still, we see what truly matters in life. As I’m typing this, my 5 year old is asleep next me. His precious self with his abundance of personality make me thankful to be his mama. These Thankful Printables are great to set out on the Thanksgiving table to see what everyone is appreciative of today! They are simple enough that they can be used all year long!

I made two sets for this printable. One set includes the smaller 3.5 x 5 inch cards and one set is an 8 x 10 inch download. Download either or both – it’s totally up to you how you want to use them. The smaller set includes 4 cards per page. Place the 8 x 10 in a frame and use a dry erase marker to write on the glass. This framed download can set out all year to practice an attitude of gratitude!

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays! I feel bad for it though. Smushed between Halloween and Christmas it rarely gets the fanfare it deserves. It’s a time when we should slow down and count our blessings! We have so much to be thankful for this year! Here is a new Thanksgiving Printable to help set the stage for your grateful heart!

Simply download the printable from the link listed below. Use white cardstock to print as it is sturdier. Print the image and place it in a frame to display with your other Thanksgiving decor. You can even use dry erase markers and write something you are thankful for on the glass! This is great to set out for Thanksgiving or the whole year. Daily practice of an attitude of gratitude makes a happy heart.
