The Best Candy Apple Recipes!
Candy apples are a staple of fall. These delicious treats have been around for last 100 years. There is a distinct difference between candy apples and caramel apples but for the purpose of this post, I am using the term interchangeably. Caramel apples imply that you have heated caramel to a melting point and dipped the apple in it. Candy apples refers to a specific process of melting sugar, corn syrup, water with coloring and flavors.
When I went to visit my sister last fall, we went to the mall and there was a store that specialized in making all sorts of gourmet dipped apples. They were delicious! I had braces growing up and was not allowed to partake in the deliciousness. Now that I’m all grown up (relatively speaking), this is one of my favorite fall treats!
