When the box of foam heads arrived at my door step, I was stumped.  What in the world does one make with a box full of heads?  I asked all of you what to make with them on Instagram.  {Click HERE to follow along with me on Instagram!}  Most of you agreed that Halloween was a must.  I created my own Foam Head Halloween Candy Bowl!  It’s going to be the talk of the neighborhood on Halloween night!

The gummy worms totally look like brains!!

Materials needed to create your own Foam Head Halloween Candy Bowl

Floracraft® Foam Head (male looks creepier)
Floracraft® Foam Cutter
Small bowl (that little black bowl was $1 at Wal-mart)
Black spray paint
Black serving platter
Candy

I started out by tracing the bowl on the top of the foam head.

Using my Floracraft® Foam Cutter, I began the styrofoam lobotomy.  HA!

It got a little tricky when I got down deep enough and I had to use a spoon to scoop out the extra.

Next it was time to spray paint.  You want to do this is very light coats.  It will take multiple coats but the result is much better.  If you spray it on too heavy, the spray paint will eat through the foam.

He looks like he has some sort of flesh eating bacteria!!  YIKES!

Multiple light coats…just keep repeating it to yourself.

Once the head was completed, I added it to the black serving tray.  The great thing is, the head is so well balanced, I didn’t even need to glue it down!  Now you can still clean the platter after used.  Win!

Add the bowl and the candy for a fun Halloween novelty!

You could even do chips and salsa!  That would be funny too!

Either way, this is great for Halloween entertaining!
